Capitol Hill Group Ministry’s partners are invaluable in the mission to unite and serve neighbors marginalized in the Ward 6 community and beyond. Without the donations, time, resources, and talents contributed by our partners, CHGM programs would not achieve the breadth and success that they do. From across Washington, DC, organizations, businesses, volunteer groups and congregations collaborate and partner with CHGM in a variety of ways.
In both large and small ways, congregations in our Capitol Hill Community support CHGM’s work with homeless families as well as our commitment to interfaith collaboration for social justice.
Our Community Partners play a key role in assisting our neighbors in many ways- from providing volunteers for CHGM’s family nights & special events to hosting food drives for our Thanks-Giving Food Basket Program.
With the variety of complex issues and special needs present in homeless families, CHGM relies on a diverse network of fellow non-profit organizations to provide each client and neighbor with the help they need.
CHGM depends on the contributions of time, talent, resources, and treasures from both individuals and groups in our community. Partners may, for example, host a family night for our clients, donate items on the CHGM wish list, or serve directly with our Street Outreach team.
